Dr. Florian Hinderer is an attorney at law at our law firm.
He advises clients on all aspects of German and European competition law. In particular, Florian has extensive experience with respect to complex merger control proceedings before the German Federal Cartel Office and the European Commission. His doctoral thesis focused on geographic market definition issues in merger control. Furthermore, his practice includes advising on distribution and cooperation agreements, preventative compliance measures including internal investigations, and representation of clients in cartel proceedings as well as proceedings for damage claims under competition law.
Florian has particular experience in the chemical, healthcare, and life science industries. He is a member of the German Competition Law Association (Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht e.V.) and the Competition Law Forum Munich (Münchner Kartellrechtsforum e.V.).
Florian has professional proficiency in the languages German and English.
Florian studied law at the universities in Tübingen and Siegen. Doctor of Laws in 2018. Trainee and research associate in the EU regulatory and competition-law departments of international law firms in Munich and Brussels. In the years 2018 to 2021, Florian worked as an associate in the competition-law practice at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in Frankfurt. Florian joined BUNTSCHECK in 2021.
